🚨 A SOBERING REMINDER OF HOW QUICKLY EVERYTHING CAN CHANGE. 🚨

This morning, a Tesla rear-ended a California Highway Patrol (CHP) patrol vehicle with two officers inside. Our thoughts and prayers are with both officers, and we sincerely wish them a speedy and full recovery. πŸ™πŸ’™

In the midst of this frightening incident, our driver was just two feet away from the impact. Two feet. Let that sink in. An ordinary moment on the job can turn into a life-changing situation in the blink of an eye. We are incredibly grateful our driver was so close to such a serious incident and hope everyone involved makes a full recovery.

Tow truck drivers face one of the highest occupational fatality rates in the industry. We work along busy highways, in dangerous conditions, and often in situations where there is little room for error. Every call comes with risks that many people never see or think about.

Yet, day after day, we show up. We answer the calls. We help stranded motorists, assist law enforcement, clear dangerous roadways, and step into situations where others need help the most. No matter the weather, the traffic, or the danger, we remain READY TO HELP IN ANY SITUATION.

Today is a reminder that behind every tow truck is a human being, a family, and loved ones waiting for them to come home safely. The same is true for our law enforcement officers, first responders, and everyone working on the roadside.

Please keep the two CHP officers in your thoughts and prayers as they recover. πŸ™ And please, slow down, stay alert, move over, and give emergency responders and tow truck operators room to work. A few seconds of caution can save a lifetime of heartbreak.

From all of us at Payless Towing, we wish both officers a speedy recovery and are thankful our driver is safe.

We don’t just tow vehicles. We show up for people. And we always hope everyone makes it home. β€οΈπŸš”πŸš¨
