We have to make a difficult announcement…
Due to unexpected delays with construction and being further behind than we anticipated after the move, we’ve had to cancel our Grand Reopening celebration scheduled for May 14th.
We are so sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We’ve been working around the clock, but we simply aren’t where we need to be yet. We also need a little time to financially recover from the move before we can properly celebrate with all of you.
That said, we are still praying hard that our final inspection goes well this week. If everything passes, we are hoping to softly open on Monday, May 4th!
We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, support, and love during this transition. We can’t wait to welcome you back to Lane’s very soon.

Lane’s Fast L**e Inc. Relocates to Larger Facility in Clive, Iowa

Clive, IA – May 1, 2026 – After more than 30 years serving the Urbandale community, Lane’s Fast L**e Inc. (Lane’s Automotive) is relocating to a new, expanded facility at 9289 Swanson Blvd., Clive, IA 50325. The shop will close its longtime Douglas Avenue location and officially open in Clive on May 1, 2026, at 8:30 a.m.

The larger space allows the family-owned business to better serve customers while continuing its tradition of fast, honest automotive service.

“Since 1989, we’ve been proud to serve this community,” said Kyle Middleton, President/CEO. “This move allows us to grow and continue providing reliable, caring service for years to come.”

A Customer Appreciation Day will be held on May 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., featuring giveaways and a complimentary BBQ lunch from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
