Holy smokes... this one was living on borrowed time! 😅
This 2000 Toyota 4Runner came in for a timing belt and head gasket job, and we're sure glad it did. That timing belt was way too close to snapping. Catching it now means this rig is ready for many more adventures instead of an unexpected tow home.
Now it's time to shift gears and get our pride and joy, Hilda the 80, dialed in for Solid Axle Summit!

Tough truck was a blast this year! Didn't place but oh well, maybe we give temu lee to another competitor and build an 80 to beat the wheels off of :) we will see what happens between now and next year

What a way to end an incredible week on the mountain. Thankfully, everyone involved in this absolutely terrifying crash is okay.
one of the hardest things to hear over the radio is that there has been an accident—especially when it happens just three corners from the finish line. Motorsports can change in an instant, and this crash was a powerful reminder of just how unforgiving Pikes Peak can be.
We're incredibly grateful that everyone was able to go home to their families on Father's Day, and we're wishing the driver a full and speedy recovery.
Another year at the mountain is officially in the books. The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb never fails to deliver excitement, emotion, and respect for the mountain.
Thank you to all the teams, volunteers, officials, and fans who make this event possible every year. We'll share more photos, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments once we're fully back in the office.
