WARNING - IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!

As most of you know, Adamco Motorsports is no longer in business. Our company sold our primary business in late 2021 and closed Adamco Motorsports in 2023 as part of our retirement plan.

We have come to learn that a bad actor(s) has begun using our owners name, the Adamco Motorsports name and our Hayden building address to market cars online through a website that they have created for that purpose along with at least one photo of our location and some of the information that was listed on our former website. Currently we are aware of at least one individual who was scammed out of a sizeable amount of money by this bad actor who may not even be located in the United States.

Adamco Motorsports no longer has a website and hasn't since 2023 and has not been active on Facebook for quite some time.

Whoever is behind this scam has created a website using the Adamco Motorsports name, our information and has created a page as well. They are marketing vehicles for sale using our information. These are vehicles that we do not own and were never in our inventory and they very likely are not even vehicles that are owned by them or are even or sale.

We have filed reports of International Fraud with the FBI and with the FTC. If you have been in contact with these individuals or have wired them money, contact the FBI and file a report at www.ic3.gov.

We are not now and never have been affiliated with these individuals nor have they been affiliated with us in any way.

We mounted the new tires and wheels on the '54 Studebaker Commander today. The top photo shows the car with the old
American Racing (15 inch) wheels & raised white letter tires. The bottom photo shows the car with the new Schott Split Window (17 inch front & 18 inch rear) wheels & black wall tires. We'll post better photos later, but wanted to share the progress. More to come.

Throw Back Thursday Post: This one's got nothing to do with cars. This is a series of photos of a fire fighting plane dropping its load nearby a couple of summers ago. The photos were taken by Terina as the plane approached & flew over our shop.

This weeks Throw Back Thursday post only goes back to last year, though it seems so long ago now. It's not often that you see more than one GTO Judge in any one place at the same time, but at last years All Pontiac Show in Tri-Cities, there were four. Our Matador Red 1969 Judge took top honors of the four. Being a Pontiac guy since before I could drive (legally anyway), it was great to see so many nice Pontiac's in the same place at the same time!

We took some time for a drive around Hayden Lake yesterday. Friends came over in their '40 Plymouth and we drove our '54 Studebaker. After the drive we went to a local park for a properly distanced visit. Like a lot of people, we don't venture out from home much these days, but it was good to take a drive and it was great to see our friends in person for the first time since early March.

Throw Back Thursday Post: A couple of photos from 2013 Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale. The top photo shows 4 of the 6 cars that we took to Barrett-Jackson that year. From left to right; 1946 Ford Pickup, 1968 Chevelle, 1964 Chevelle, 1965 Buick Gran Sport. The bottom photo shows the back of the 46 Ford and behind it the 68 Chevelle in the staging lanes before going up on the auction block.

For the last 71 years, the Grand National Roadster Show has hosted the worlds best hot rods, muscle cars, dragsters, low riders and trucks. We are excited to say that we will be back again for our 72nd year, only on slightly different dates. The O'Reilly Auto Parts Grand National Roadster Show moves to May 14-16, 2021 as a result of logistical challenges surrounding the pandemic. We’ll still have all the great automobiles, food and friends you love, just a few months later than usual.

The America’s Most Beautiful Roadster Award and the Al Slonaker Memorial Award at the Grand National Roadster Show will again be backed by a $12,500 prize for each one presented by ARP Fastners. Guests can also visit Building 9 for a special “Gathering of Hot VWs” sponsored by Hot VWs Magazine.

All entry deadlines have been adjusted to match the new dates. Forms are available on our website, rodshows.com. We can’t wait to see you all in Pomona in May of 2021!
