Good Evening, University
Place....
I wanted to give a quick shout out to our amazing little town. I know we've had an uptick in crime throughout the Puget sound, and in our area... In spite of that, our neighbors have been overwhelmingly encouraging and have come together in ways I used to see when I was a young child. Through COVID and this seemingly newfound lack of morals, you've kept your head held high and I am proud to call you freinds, neighbors and blessed to have you as my customers.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be especially cold. If your car is outside like mine, you may want to consider pulling your wipers up tonight. This will help them from freezing to the window, and/or tearing if turning them on while still frozen to the window. Be well.

Good Afternoon, University Place. The wife just called with information... Apparently the Lakewood WalMart is shutting down from today at 2pm until Monday.

I know this is short notice, but it just was brought to my attention and thought it should be put out in case folks are needing to get their shopping done. I found the Tacoma News & Tribune article on it and is attached below. I'll be heading home to take care of the wife and our kids shortly. If we don't talk between now and Monday, I hope you all have a great weekend.

Good Morning, University Place.

We have been working with a local outreach minstry, The Gathering Place, I have been going out with them on Wednesdays to help distribute food and clothing to the homeless.

I am starting a clothing/jacket drive for those who are at rock bottom. Anything you may be wanting to purge from your closet is greatly appreciated. We could also use an extra couple sets of hands to help prepare everything that goes into the love given each week... Stop by, even if for coffee and conversation. If you've clothes to help keep some from freezing, my staff are all instructed with where to store everything should I not be here... (My wife had surgery last Wednesday and I do what I can to try to be there as much as I can for her. I hope everyone has an amazing weekend.

I know we are dealing with winter conditions out on the roadway. I would like to remind everyone within our community that I will do house calls for those who cannot get out due to work restrictions, or for health matters.

House Calls: Give us a call at the shop 253.566.1620 and let us know you are in need of service or repair but need a house call. I will come to your home or office, pick up your vehicle, bring it in for what it needs... I then have you pay over the phone and I will bring your vehicle back to your home or place of business.

We love our community, neighbors and all of our customers. As the owner of Precision Tune, I want you all to know we will do whatever we can to make your experience with us as painless and affordable for you as possible. I want to wish everyone in our hometown a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I pray that each of you are loved with belly's full, remain warm and surrounded by loved ones.
