If you have any recycling questions, stop by and see us today at the Fayette County Fair! We will be in Building 2 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Our team will be happy to answer your recycling questions, provide information about Fayette County’s recycling programs, and help you learn more about what can and cannot be recycled.

We look forward to seeing you at the fair!

Attention Fayette County Residents:

We kindly ask for your cooperation in helping keep our recycling locations clean and available for everyone.

Please do not leave recyclable materials on the ground around the recycling bins. If a bin is full, we encourage you to use one of the other recycling bin locations throughout the county or bring your recyclables directly to the Fayette County Recycling Convenience Center, located at 105 Romeo Lane, Uniontown, on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.

Leaving materials outside the bins creates litter when bags tear or are blown open by the wind, causing recyclables to scatter into neighboring yards and along roadways. Unfortunately, if this misuse continues, property owners may request that the recycling bins be removed from their locations.

Your cooperation helps us keep these recycling sites clean, safe, and available for the entire community. Thank you for doing your part to keep Fayette County beautiful and for supporting our recycling program!

Important Notice to Our Residents:

Due to continued misuse, Brownsville Boro and Hatfield Elementary locations will be removed and not returned. Unfortunately, non-recyclable items have repeatedly been left in and around the bins, creating litter, safety concerns, and additional cleanup costs. These bins are intended for approved recyclable materials only and are not to be used for general trash or unacceptable items.

We appreciate the many residents who use the recycling program correctly.. However, the ongoing misuse has made it impossible to continue providing this service at these locations. Please help us protect our remaining recycling sites by placing only accepted recyclable materials in bins and NEVER leaving items beside them.

Reminder to attend the Fayette 250 Kids Fest tomorrow, Saturday, June 20th, at the South Union Recreation Center, a complimentary event for all!

Appreciation is extended to all participants in the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event held on Saturday. The event drew a strong attendance, and gratitude is expressed for responsibly recycling chemicals and paint. This past Saturday, we served 200 participants, diverting and recycling over an estimated 20,000+ pounds of household chemical materials from landfills or from being illegally dumped! ♻️🌎❤️
