There are just no words… Pearl Smith, our “forever” activities director and special friend to so many has gone on to be with the Lord. She has made such an impact on anyone and everyone who has been here at OMS, past and present. Her legacy will live on here forever as our Rec Hall was officially dedicated to her and will be named Pearl’s Place in her honor. Thank you, Pearl, for your many years of dedication! You will be forever loved and missed ❤️ Please keep Buck and their family in your prayers in the days ahead🙏

It is with deepest sorrow that we inform you that Judy Gould passed away yesterday. She and her husband, Seymour, resided on Lot 222 here at OMS for many years. She fought a long, tough battle with cancer, and we feel at peace knowing that she can rest now. Please pray for Seymour and their family for peace and comfort in the days ahead.

We were just informed that Roy Buckman passed away on June 7, 2021 in Michigan at the age of 84. For those of you that knew Roy, he was a long-time resident of Olde Mill Stream on Lot 160 until early 2019. He is survived by several siblings. Please keep his family in your prayers.

The Health Department has responded to our request and is designating 200 first dose Pfizer vaccinations for OMS residents at St. Patrick's Church in Mount Dora on Wednesday, March 3rd between 9am and 12:00noon. DO NOT SHOW UP AT THE CHURCH WITHOUT ADDING YOUR NAME TO THE OMS VACCINATION LIST! In order to get your vaccination, you must be over the age of 65 and must show that you are residing in Florida for at least 3 months. If you need a letter stating that, please see Linda or Debbie in the office.
To add your name to the list, you must respond email us at [email protected] or call the office at 352-669-3141 between 8:30 am and 4 pm on Tuesday, March 2nd. You will be turned away if your name is not on this list.
If we exceed 200 people for this vaccination day, they will add another day and time slot for us in the near future.
