Last night we had our very first Veteran's Ball! It was such a wonderful night paying tribute and saying thanks to all who served their country.

Thank you to all who attended, all who volunteered, KJ Mikey for the tunes and a special thanks to Doctor Ray Cooper for the behind the scenes help and taking over as Master of Ceremonies.

It was a fantastic night!

This weekend the weather is going to turn very cold. We are expecting freezing temperatures overnight for Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Wind chills are expected in the single digits. Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph are expected. Have a plan in case the park loses power. This kind of weather is RARE for this area.

Please secure your outdoor belongings to prevent them from blowing around. Please protect your water spigots. Before going to bed, disconnect your water hose from the spigot and set the OMS water spigot to a slight drip. Turn off your water heater to prevent damage to it. It is important to protect the OMS water lines from freezing.

Protect your plants by covering them each night.

Finally, please talk to your neighbors. Not everyone in the park is signed up for our group emails or our page. Please help your neighbors if possible and let them know about the expected weather and what they may need to do.
