Fact: Life happens. But… HOW it happens is up to each person. Today was a reminder how much beauty is right out the front door. Life gets busy. Days flow one after another and before you know it… another year is gone. Stop for just a minute and look at those little things we take for granted. On the drive home today, I started to really look… the river sparkling in the sun, the colors of the turning leaves that contrasted with the rocky cliff behind. It was…. Peaceful. Calming. And it was a reminder that sometimes we just need to slow down for a minute to realize not everything in the world is a mess. Take a minute for yourself. You won’t regret it 😉

Time to pull out the gloves, beanies and the parkas! Evidently, Old Man Winter is waking up fully caffeinated! 😳 🥶 ❄️

For those of you that are hunting 🦌, camping ⛺️ or plan to be in the woods 🌲 this weekend (Oct 10th ish)and going foward, be aware that there is supposed to be a big shift in the weather. Last few days have been 85 degrees plus 🥵(which is crazy for this time of year!!) but the forecast is saying ‘enjoy that while you can’. Looks like we have a stretch of cold air 💨 coming in that is bringing some possible snow ❄️ with it. So bundle up. Don’t forget to fill those propane tanks. And winterizing anything that needs it sooner, rather than later, might save your bacon 🥓 😊

Fall is probably the best time of year. 🍁

The colors are just incredible. Temps start dropping and giving some relief from the unrelenting heat of summer. Mornings are crisp and fresh and the first rays of sunshine that come over the hills make the dew glisten like diamonds. It’s that peaceful time as the world starts to get ready for the long rest under the blanket of winter. 🥰
