Let’s talk about BG Products AGAIN.

This customer’s Nissan Titan came in with severe engine sludge that was causing timing related concerns and the truck had less than 70k miles on it. The local dealership recommended nearly $10,000 in timing component replacement and engine cleaning.

Instead, we performed a BG Dynamic Engine Cleaner service, addressed the root cause, and corrected the timing concerns without replacing major components.

Final repair bill? Around $1,400 instead of nearly $10,000 which included fixing a fan issue as well!

Let me tell you something about BG Products — they’re hands down the best in the industry. This customer came in with VVT solenoid issues and an engine packed with sludge buildup. Sludge like this forms when oil changes are neglected for too long. Modern engines have tighter tolerances, small oil passages, and sensitive components like solenoids and sensors — and sludge can clog or damage them fast. BG dynamic engine cleaner helps dissolve buildup, restore proper oil flow, and protect critical engine parts from future damage. These pictures are from a 2016 Ford F150 with 136k miles. We pulled the valve cover before the service and then performed the BG dynamic engine cleaner. Once we got the service done we pulled the valve cover again. Take a look at the difference!
