BEFORE YOU CONNECT YOUR CAMPER TO CITY WATER... 💦

Here's a little piece of equipment every RV owner should know about:
The water pressure regulator!

Campground water pressure can vary significantly from one location to another.

Too much pressure can damage plumbing components inside your RV.

A properly rated RV water pressure regulator helps protect your camper from excessive incoming pressure.

And while we're talking about water...

A drinking-water-safe hose and an appropriate water filter are worth having in your camping setup!

Experienced campers — what's one inexpensive RV accessory that has saved you from an expensive problem?

🌲 EAST TEXAS STATE PARK SPOTLIGHT 🐊

📍 CADDO LAKE STATE PARK

This doesn't exactly look like Texas, does it? 👀

Cypress trees rising out of the water.
Spanish moss hanging overhead.
Bayous winding through the forest.
And yes… a few alligators call this place home too. 🐊😂

Caddo Lake State Park might be one of the most unique camping experiences in all of East Texas.

🛶 Paddle through the bayous
🎣 Wet a line
🥾 Explore the trails
🔥 Set up camp beneath the trees
📸 And bring the camera—you'll want it here.

Now we need the East Texas campers to settle this one:

👇 Have you camped at Caddo Lake?

⭐ Give it a 1–10 rating in the comments.

And here's the bigger question…

Would you kayak through those cypress trees knowing there might be an alligator somewhere nearby? 🐊👀

YES or NO? 😂

🏈 TEXAS vs. OU. LET’S SETTLE SOMETHING IMPORTANT.

Saturday, October 10.

Longhorns. Sooners.
Dallas. Cotton Bowl.
Bragging rights on the line.

But we have a more important question at Camping World of Tyler…

🚐 You’re camping for the Red River Rivalry weekend.

There’s only ONE RV.

Half the family is wearing burnt orange. 🟠🤘
The other half shows up in crimson. 🔴

Who gets to decorate the campsite? 😂

And more importantly…

If your team LOSES:

🔥 Are you still cooking breakfast Sunday morning?
😂 Are you taking the decorations down immediately?
🤫 Are you pretending football doesn’t exist?
🚐 Or are you packing up the RV before anybody wakes up?

👇 NO SITTING ON THE FENCE TODAY.

TEXAS 🤘 or OU?

Let’s see who has more fans in East Texas.

YOUR RV REFRIGERATOR IS NOT ALWAYS LIKE THE ONE AT HOME. 🧊

Especially if your camper has a traditional absorption refrigerator!

These refrigerators operate differently than the residential fridge in your kitchen.
A few things worth knowing:
❄️ Some RV refrigerators need several hours to reach operating temperature.
❄️ Absorption refrigerators need to be operated within their manufacturer's leveling requirements.
❄️ Airflow around the refrigerator matters.
❄️ Loading a warm refrigerator with a mountain of warm groceries can slow the cooling process.
❄️ Different refrigerator types have different operating requirements.
Here's a camping debate for you...

Do you turn your RV refrigerator on the night BEFORE a trip, or the morning you're leaving?

Let's see what our experienced campers recommend! 👇

🌲 EAST TEXAS STATE PARK SPOTLIGHT 🏕️

📍 DAINGERFIELD STATE PARK

If you've never camped here, this one deserves a spot on the East Texas camping list!

Tucked away in the Pineywoods, Daingerfield State Park gives you that classic East Texas getaway:

🌲 Towering pines
🎣 Fishing
🛶 Kayaking & paddling
🥾 Hiking trails
🏊 Lake swimming
🔥 And a great place to slow down around the campsite

And when fall finally makes its way to East Texas, this place can put on a SHOW. 🍂

So we're asking the campers who know it best:

👇 Have you stayed at Daingerfield State Park?

⭐ Give it a 1–10 rating!

And more importantly…

What's the ONE thing someone camping there for the first time shouldn't miss?

THAT RV YOU'VE BEEN WATCHING ONLINE? WE MIGHT BE WATCHING IT JUST AS CLOSELY AS YOU ARE! 👀🚐

Here's something we wish more RV shoppers knew…

That camper you've had saved on your phone for the last two months?
The one you keep checking to see if the price has changed?
There's a good chance we're keeping an eye on it, too! 😂

Let us explain a little dealership economics.
RVs aren't meant to sit on a dealership lot forever.
Every unit represents money tied up in inventory. Depending on how it's financed, there may also be interest expenses, carrying costs, and the need to make room for incoming models.

At Camping World of Tyler, we're a volume dealership.
Our goal isn't to see how long we can keep an RV parked on the lot. Our goal is to sell RVs, turn inventory, and help customers get out and enjoy the RV lifestyle.
Sometimes that creates opportunities shoppers don't realize exist.

Maybe it's an older model.
Maybe it's a floorplan we've had a little longer than expected.
Maybe we're making room for incoming inventory.
Or maybe we're simply ready to put another deal together!
Does that mean every RV is negotiable to any price?
Of course not.

But here's our advice:
If you've been watching an RV, don't just watch the price. START THE CONVERSATION.

You might be surprised at what we can put together.

NOW WE WANT TO KNOW…
What's the longest you've watched an RV online before finally making the decision to buy?
A few days? A few weeks? Six months?
Or are you STILL watching one right now? 👀😂

Now we're curious...
If you're shopping for your next camper, what's the ONE feature it absolutely MUST have?

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CHECKED YOUR RV WATER HEATER? 🚿

It's one of those things you don't think about...

Until you're halfway through a shower and the hot water disappears. 😂
Depending on your RV's water heater, regular maintenance may include:
🔧 Flushing mineral sediment.
🔧 Inspecting the anode rod, if equipped.
🔧 Checking for leaks.
🔧 Inspecting exterior vents.
🔧 Following the manufacturer's maintenance schedule.
And remember — not every RV water heater uses the same maintenance procedures!

What's your RV water heater setup?
🚿 Traditional tank
🔥 Tankless/on-demand
🤷 Honestly, I have no idea!
