Well, Day 2 didn’t end the way we had hoped.
William Ginn was on the move and making up ground when we suddenly lost oil pressure, bringing our night to an early end. That’s racing… sometimes you’re chasing checkered flags, and sometimes you’re chasing parts.
The good news? The car is already back in the shop, we’re evaluating everything, making a plan, and getting ready for the next one. We don’t stay down for long.
Overall, it was a solid weekend. We learned a lot, had good speed, and left knowing we’re headed in the right direction. Mother Nature definitely kept everyone on their toes, we experienced just about every season imaginable in the span of two hours!
A huge thank you to all of the amazing fans who stuck it out through the rain, wind, sunshine, and everything in between. Your support means the world to our team.
Back at the shop, Irwin the Track Basset (Irwin) has officially entered full supervisor mode. He’s making his rounds, inspecting everyone’s work (mostly by sniffing everything), and making sure the crew gets this thing sorted out. We can’t promise his advice is helpful, but morale is definitely higher with him on duty. 🐾
Congratulations to all of the weekend’s winners, and thank you to our crew, sponsors, family, and everyone who helps make this possible.
Now it’s time to regroup, turn some wrenches, and get ready for the next adventure. We’ll be back. 💪🏁
