Apparently the #66 ARCA car and the #88 Bandolero had a play date at the GRIP shop today.

Same sport… VERY different dress sizes.

The #66 is over there like, “Who brought their kid to work?”
Meanwhile the #88 is probably thinking, “Keep talking, Grandpa… I’m still a race car.” 😂

And judging by the very serious meeting happening in the background, the adults are trying to figure out which one is going to need more parts today.

Big race car, little race car… they all end up on stands at GRIP eventually and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

The race season might be winding down, but the GRIP shop definitely isn’t! 😎 We’ve been busy knocking out projects, making repairs, building parts, and getting race cars ready for whatever comes next.

Was P6 exactly what we were hoping for? Nope. But is it anything to be disappointed about? Absolutely not! 👏

William started P2 and held that spot for the first 40 laps. After the draw shook things up, we had to restart P9. From there, W***y went to work and drove the #61 back up to P6 by the end of that segment, then held onto it through the final 20 laps to bring home a solid P6 finish!

We had a fast car all weekend, and W***y drove one heck of a race, clean, smart, avoided some CRAZY accidents 😳, and most importantly… brought the #61 home in one piece 🙌 Considering she’s been known to have a bit of an attitude lately, we’ll call that a win too.

A HUGE thank you to our crew Will, Justice, JJ, Dominic, and Dylan for working your butts off all weekend. You guys never stop! We can’t forget Grampy Joe for making sure everyone is fed, taken care of, and functioning like actual humans. 😂

And to W***y for climbing in that car and somehow making this whole racing thing look way easier than it actually is, we are all so proud of you! 🏁

But most of all… THANK YOU TO THE FANS! ❤️

The people who stop by the pits, cheer us on, grab some swag, follow along from home, and support this crazy racing adventure you are the reason we get to do what we love. We appreciate you more than you know!

It’s time to go racing! We’ve got a whole bunch of Big Wi***es ready to hit the track, and we can’t wait to see what today brings!

Was the #61 still being a little moody? Ohhh, absolutely. 🙄😂 Apparently she wasn’t quite finished with the attitude yet.

BUT… William Ginn got it DONE! 💪🔥

Even with the #61 throwing a bit of a fit, W***y wheeled her to an 11.236 and P2 in qualifying! THE TOP TWO ARE LOCKED INTO THE BIG SHOW TOMORROW! 🔒🏁🔥

Huge congrats to Aaron Willison on P1 with an 11.070! 👏

Now we’ll take the #61 back, sweet-talk her, adjust her attitude, maybe offer her a snack… whatever it takes. 😂 Because WE’RE LOCKED IN!

Well… that was NOT the night we were hoping for. 😭🏁

William Ginn had to avoid an accident, and with nowhere else to go, the #61 Big Willie Chassis apparently decided she was a MONSTER TRUCK. 🤦‍♀️😂 W***y went straight over the dirt jumps, crunching the nose and making the front end VERY mad. 😬 Thankfully, it could have been a whole lot worse!

He battled the angry girl for several more laps, but when she started getting hot, W***y made the hard but smart decision to pull her in and call it a night.

Not how we wanted Open Wheel Wednesday to end, but that’s racing. 💪 Now it’s back to the shop for some straightening, fixing, sweet talking…and possibly an attitude adjustment. 😂🔧

We’ll get her put back together and ready to fight again for the Pink Lady Classic! 💗🏁

We’ve got FIVE Big Willie Chassis here tonight… well, technically 4½. 🤣

The #1 Big Willie Chassis has apparently decided racing is optional and REFUSES to come out of the box. 😂 She’s still tucked away enjoying her beauty sleep like, “Wake me up when it’s Pink Lady time.” 😴💅🏁
