Weekend On The Edge! Was an awesome event today! The dyno was fun as usual, but the sled pulling was great! Work Stock diesel had 15 competitors, but we managed to eke out 1st place before the rear axle yoke let go. Feeling pretty great right now about the decision to trailer down the shop truck to save on fuel as it’s now our ride home.

Let the games begin! The boss lady’s 2027 King Ranch has arrived, and it’s time to have some fun. American Force Wheels and Mickey Thompson Tires are on. We lowered it 2” in the rear and 1/2” in the front. We would go lower, but the front suspension travel would be compromised. We’ve got our usual handful of mods getting lined up, and so far, it’s going well. Special thanks to our youngest employee for helping get the right tire to fender clearance up front.

These EarthRoamer campers are gutless from the factory at only 300 horsepower for the year, but otherwise awesome rigs. This one lost its intercooler on its way to the burning man festival. With nothing else available the same day, we retrofitted a newer style cooler in, and the owners were able to attend. On their way back through, we did a proper repair and some upgrades using a Pacific Performance Engineering intercooler, S&S Diesel Motorsport DCR injection pump, and turbo upgrade to the factory pickup turbo, plus some Edge Products gauges for safety. Gotta love more power, especially when it comes with more reliability!

Here's a towing monster we put together recently. Low EGTs all the time! What started out as a leaky head gasket on an almost completely stock 80k original mile truck spiraled into something really fun! Towing capability rather than max power was the top goal.

It's got too much to list, but some of the bigger ticket items include an Odawgs intake manifold and compounds with an S475 over a KC Turbos stage 1 high pressure turbo, RCD stage 1 cam, 205/75 injectors, Thumper 1 HPOP, and billet LPOP. Power Driven Diesel O ring heads, oil cooler, S&B cab mounts and traction bars, as well as a Warren Diesel Shop, LLC competition transmission. FASS and Driven Diesel supply the fuel, and Banks Power cools the boost. An Airlift wireless controller makes changing air bag pressure super easy as well. Thanks Michael for putting it all together so well.

A few pics from 7/25/26 sled pull event in Shoshone ID in the work stock diesel class. We have some rear suspension kinks to work out on our ‘17 single cab, which lost us a few feet, and a podium finish, but ‘The Chief’ and Avery’s ‘Chica Grande’ both performed well, netting 1st and 3rd place respectively. Thanks to all of you who came out to support our crew, and thanks to Thain Motorsports for putting on a fantastic show as always

Preventative maintenance complete! We’re not sure how much power our shop truck will end up making, but we know we want it to last. This round, we installed an S&S DCR injection pump, plus welded the crankshaft gear, which is already done on our 2020 crew cab in the background. It’s a fair amount of labor to get it done, but the peace of mind is worth it when you consider what it can cost if the factory fuel injection pump fails, or the crankshaft gear slips.
