Just wanted to let everyone know I know I don’t post as much and often as a should be. But here is simply tip I wanted to share while working out in the shop today, and most of you do this. (Change your Spark Plug). Customer brings in a 2016 Polaris 450 and it’s not been running, so he’s let it sit. Brings it to me and I do my basic check and find out the Spark plug is filed out. It’s something most don’t think about but it will cause you the biggest problem and be so simple to do. Changed the spark plug and the Polaris fired right up. Also make sure you run a good spark plug like NGK. This plug was an (E) plug. I appreciate all the business but something like this could keep you from having to bring it to me. Hope everyone has a great day and thank you for the continued support and business. See Pictures

Due to some unfortunate circumstances I have encountered recently, We have been advised to have a signed agreement in place before I begin labor and/or service on any job. This is for all current and new customers. I will give a copy and have you sign it when you drop off. From this point on, I will not work on anything without a signed agreement in place. This is to protect both parties and to make sure we are on the same page regarding services. Thank you all for your understanding.

Here’s another great example of why you watch where you take your Side by Side or Fourwheeler to get worked on. Customer brings me a 2023 Polaris Ranger 570 that had a broken timing chain. He was told by another shop that the motor was ruined and needed a new motor that was going to cost $6,000 dollars because the timing chain broke. I told him I would fix it and he wouldn’t need a new motor. Got all the work done and new timing chain installed and the Ranger is back running great like before. Another happy new customer.

Happy Saturday! ☀️

I just want to say how much I appreciate all of my amazing customers and the patience and support you’ve given me.

I’m happy to say I’m starting to take on more jobs again! To keep from getting overbooked, I’ll only be accepting what I know I can manage. So you may still hear me say, “I can’t right now, but give me a call back in a week or two.”

Thank you all so much for your support — it truly means the world to me! ❤️

Not something you see from a 2022 Honda that’s factory. Customer brought me a 2022 Honda Recon 250 that would run great until it got hot and then it would act up and not take throttle. Removed the rear case cover to get to the stator and found the cause of the problem. The Honda factory had installed the stator where a wire was being rubbed by the flywheel and caused the issue. I installed a new stator and pick up coil and made sure the wire was secured and the issue is fixed. Another happy customer. Gregcookmotorsports

Hope it’s been a Happy New Year for everyone. With the start of this New Year I wanted to let everyone know that my hourly rate will increase starting this year. The new current rate is $100 an hour. Again I just wanted to thank all my wonderful customers for the business and I look forward to taking care of everyone that needs any service, repairs, upgrades, transmission, and engine repairs. We just finished up this complete top end rebuild to this 2006 Honda Foreman 500 and it’s running great now. Thank you all. It’s going to be a great 2026.

Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas from Gregcookmotorsports 🎄🎄🎄
