Davey Knotts is constantly making house calls for those who can't make it here, even if that means after hours/before hours, picking your vehicle up for you and bringing it back. Hes dedicated to helping in anyway possible.
This morning someone called in a jam because they were changing their ball joint and needed help finishing, so Davey hurried up there and got it fixed (in the rain on the ground ill add) so the person had their vehicle.
You dont see this level of dedication and costumer service very often!

One thing Davey Knotts has done even at the last shop is top off fluids (when he remembers) as a courtesy to his costumers.
If hes under the hood and notices the wiper fluid, coolant, brake fluid is low he tops it off at no additional charge (unless you r completely empty)
Like I said (WHEN HE REMEMBERS 😂) but if you have a service scheduled you can ask him to check your fluid levels for ya (like a costumer did this week) and he will top it off and wont charge unless it takes the entire jug!

This is Jen.
I want to start off by saying thank you to Scott N Tammy Wiles for the post they made in support of our business today in regards to the construction. And thanks to everyone who has shared, commented and continued supporting us even with all the construction mess and bad weather. I couldnt even possibly try to tag everyone or it would take all day.
Next Id like to make clear that by no means was I trying to take any attention away from the financial troubles the quick stop is facing by sharing the news article here saying we were struggling as well and commenting that other businesses in the area were struggling. I was not trying to compare struggles or anything else. We have lost income but not to the point where we are at risk of closing the doors like they are.
My sole intent of sharing and commenting is so the people that matter that can do something to help Dave stay open and can get the ball moving with the construction will see that it isnt just one business struggling, that we are all struggling and maybe if they see its effecting the entire community and all the businesses they will move a little faster in whatever they need to do to resolve this.
With all that said I am sharing pictures of a few other businesses pages in town that I personally saw comment on other posts that they were struggling as well. I believe we all need to stick together and as a community support each other and all our local businesses so we dont lose any businesses.
Those that i have seen comment are Cassies Bakery, W&W service Center, and wagners heating and cooling and of course tunnelton quick stop is added in my pictures because they were brave enough to speak up first and seem to be struggling the most right now.
Please support ALL your local small businesses, even if you cant personally afford their services you can support by sharing their posts, telling your friends, sharing their pages. Help spread the word they exist so others can find them. Im so happy to be apart of this community and have loved seeing the outpouring of love and support for our own.
If you know other businesses that are struggling or have ur own business in town and you are struggling (even our competitors) please feel free to comment a picture of their page and what they offer so everyone can see!

Does anyone have a larger empty Argon welding tank they would want to sell. We only have a smaller one to trade in and would like to have a bigger one, but its pretty pricey to buy a brand new one.

Unfortunately its not only the quick stop that is suffering either. We have had a significant decline in business as well, especially since the last traffic change. There is a huge crater at the beginning of Campground now that wasnt fixed and no one wants to travel through the lights and road mess and tear up their vehicles even more just for an oil change or something simple. I havent done the math to see exactly what we've lost but I know its been a lot and we've been struggling too.

Since January 2025, road work has been taking place outside of the Tunnelton Quik Stop, and according to the owner, the work has resulted in a significant downturn in business.

❄️ Winter isn’t slowing us down at Breakin Bolts! ❄️
The recent snowstorm may have slowed things down a bit, but it hasn’t stopped us from keeping our doors open and taking care of our customers 💪🚗
And since the groundhog saw his shadow today… looks like we’ve got 6 more weeks of winter to look forward to 🐿️🥶
That means it’s definitely not too late to get those snow tires on and stay safe on the roads.

Benefit of the business being at our house, is the snow wont keep us from opening ( just prevents the costumers from getting to us). If you can get out, Davey Knotts will be there during normal business (and usually beyond) to help out.
If you are a procrastinator and haven't gotten those winter tires yet, now is the perfect time before more snow comes. Reminder our tire prices are cheaper than most in the county and include mount and balance in the cost.
