This beautiful '61 was just recently purchased by a new customer of ours. They made it about 25 miles, put fuel in it, and everything went south on em. Turns out the truck had sat for MANY years with the same fuel in the tank. There was rust sediment in the fuel bowls, fuel filter, and fuel lines. The tank and carb were full of rust and varnished fuel. The only right thing to do at that point was completely redo the fuel system. New tank, tear down the carb, new fuel lines, new fuel filter, the works! Here is the kicker. They dropped it off Tuesday and wanted it done by Friday so they could take it to a car show it was entered in, on Saturday! We got to work, stripped it all out, cleaned it all out, got the tank shipped overnight, and had it done by 12:00 this afternoon. To add to the fun times, the ignition timing was also done incorrectly, so we ended up resetting that whole system to where it should be.
Wanna check this truck out? It will be in steilacoom at a car show tomorrow!!!

Large Photo dump!!!! Chop chop chop! Off with the cancer. Every time we would remove some, more was behind it. At some point over the years, someone did some really shotty "rust repair". They covered the bad stuff with slip on patches and completely welded them everywhere they could put a weld. Dissecting this was a bit of a task. We are up for the challenge!

This '70 blazer came in for a complete restoration. This is a great example of a rig looking decent on the outside, but it is hiding a lot of issues under a poorly executed previous "restoration". Hang tight, this one gets lots of love!!!

Here is a list of all the areas that are getting repaired/replaced:
-rocker panels
-floor extensions/floor pans
-lower A-Pillars
-lower kick panels
-B-pillar skins
-B-pillar supports
-step down panels
-rocker box reinforcement panels
-rocker boxes
-rear floor supports
-front floor supports
-lower cowl panel
-complete 5 piece windshield frame kit
-rear tub/floor section
-front quarter panels
-rear quarter panel patches
-lower fender mount reinforcement pieces

That's all my brain can think of right now. Hahahhaha
Stay tuned!
