The Duramax powered OBS Ford runs and drives insanely well! Spinning tires in Ryan Hausmann shop with a 2k pound pallet of parts in the bed is fun🤘🏼

We now have ~1200 miles on the swap and the fresh engine with zero issues. It is a crazy feeling to drive an old Ford that feels like you are driving a modern truck. With our front and rear suspension, the LBZ Duramax, Allison 6 speed transmission and AAM 11.5 disc brake rear axle with hydroboost it feels like you are driving a new truck. That being said, the rattling door panels remind you that it’s still a 30 year old Ford. Those will get fixed here soon though.

This project has far exceeded our expectations and I couldn’t be happier with it. We will be releasing a long form YouTube video going over everything that has been done very soon!

Is anyone interested in Duramax swap parts for their OBS Ford? Engine mounts, transmission crossmember, throttle pedal bracket, swap guide, etc.

You’ve seen plenty of trucks from the No BS Truck Show by OBS Solutions- now meet some of the good boys and girls who came along for the ride 🐾.

This isn’t even close to all of the pups that showed up (and one token cat 🐱😂) ! The No BS Truck show is as dog-friendly as it gets, which is another reason we love it so much. Many of our fave rigs had a special co-pilot riding shot gun.

Bring your truck. Bring your dog. We’ll see you next year 🤙🏽

No BS Truck Show 2026 is a wrap! 👏🏼🎉🙌🏼🍻

Huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this happen- from the organizers, (shout out OBS.SOLUTIONS), the crews behind the scenes, Powerland Heritage Park for being an epic location, and every single person who stopped by to chat trucks with us. From old friends to new faces stoked on these rigs, this community is what makes it all worth it.

The turnout keeps growing every year and this one was on another level! Grateful doesn’t even cover it. We couldn’t even get enough pics to show all the rigs that were there.

Already counting down to next year. Better see you all there! ✌🏼🤙🏽

The Duramax/Allison powered OBS Ford is finally running and driving! It’s been a long time coming and well worth the wait — it’s honestly hard to put into words how good this thing runs and drives. We’ve already put 350 miles on it with zero issues, and we’re stoked to be driving it out to the No BS Truck Show by OBS Solutions in a couple weeks.

Still far from finished, but here’s where we’re at:

Done so far:
- Wiring — 95% done, all routed through the factory firewall bulkhead connector, zero extra holes, utilizing the factory Ford power distribution box
- Transmission shift linkage — done, using the factory E4OD shifter
- Plumbing — done, AC blowing cold
- Gauges — nearly all functioning thanks to the Dakota Digital RTX cluster (more on that soon)

Still on the list:
- Shorten the frame for the clean white shortbed
- Transfer case shift linkage
- Front driveshaft
- Updated 4-link front suspension
- Long travel traction bars
- Cruise control wiring
- Interior rattles + door panels (using OBS.SOLUTIONS parts)
- Sound deadening
- Stereo install
- New window and door seals
- Steering wheel refinish
- Figure what seats we want to run
- Eventually paint and body

Won’t all be done before the show, but it’s already a great running, driving truck and we couldn’t be more stoked to bring it out🤙🏼

It finally runs!! Today we started the Duramax swapped OBS for the first time and it runs soooo good. Now it’s time to get the wiring all cleaned up/loomed, the new Dakota Digital RTX cluster wired in and about 1000 other things but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. Stoked is an understatement! As long as things keep going smoothly we will be driving this bad Larry to the No BS Truck Show by OBS Solutions in August🤞🏼

We recently released a major track bar up grade for 2005-2016 Ford Super Duty’s! This track bar is far stronger than factory, eliminates the failure prone ball joint, keeps the factory geometry, is fully adjustable and works on both stock and lifted trucks🤘🏼 Check out the full video on our YouTube channel.

The Duramax/Allison swapped OBS Ford is finally coming together. There are lots of little details to finish up but the goal is to have it at the No BS Truck Show by OBS Solutions in August🤞🏼Wiring is up next and we have some very cool stuff to show you from Dakota Digital

Introducing our latest product development truck — a 2015 F250 CCSB 6.7! We’re expanding our product line to cover 2005–2016 Ford F250 and F350 trucks, and this rig is our platform for making that happen🤘🏼

We started with the biggest flaw these trucks are plagued with: the factory track bar and track bar ball joint. The OEM ball joint wears prematurely and is the biggest cause of wandering steering and death wobble — and the factory bushing on the frame end isn’t much better, coming with play straight from the factory. Our new track bar fixes both. The axle end replaces the factory ball joint with an FK Teflon-lined 1” uniball in a stainless steel cup, double-shear mounted through two 3/8” tabs. The frame end uses an FK Teflon-lined heim joint threaded directly into the 1.5” x .375” DOM tube for full adjustability and no weld joint. This design maintains factory track bar and drag link geometry — no bump steer introduced — and works on both stock height and lifted trucks still running the factory ball joint. Wear items are standard off-the-shelf FK parts, so maintenance stays simple.

Next up: 3.375” fabricated rear lift blocks. F250 4x4s came with a factory 2” block while F350 4x4s got a 3.375” — meaning a 2.5” level on a two-inch-block truck will sit nose high. Our fabricated block corrects this, complete with captured U-bolts and a bump stop tang to retain factory bump stops.

This is just the beginning — we have a ton of products in development for these trucks and will be releasing them in the coming months. As always, we’re grateful for the support that lets us keep doing what we love: building parts that make 1980–2016 Ford trucks ride better, handle better, and perform far beyond stock🙏🏼
