‼️TRUCK GIVEAWAY UPDATE‼️

Due to recent natural disasters along the east coast. Few changes will be made.

1) Budget of $25,000.00 will be increased to $50,000.00.

2) Due date moved to November 22, 2024.

3) Department letters sent to any emails other than [email protected] will declined immediately.

4) Requests for Fire Chief vehicles are also declined immediately. If you submitted this type of request please resubmit a request of a different vehicle.

Platinum Apparatus is proud to be able to DONATE a truck to a community in need!

How can YOUR community take advantage of this?

Departments that are interested in applying for the project are to submit a request on department letterhead. Sent by email to [email protected].

The requirements for this project include:

* Population under 10,000
* Budget under $25,000.00 annual
* Volunteer organization preferred
* No new engines in the last 10 years

Request must state the need for the apparatus and what kind of apparatus is needed. All requests must be turned in by October 31, 2024 by 5:00 P.M. Central.

Request must include 5 different people for us to contact on the department in the event we have questions. Our ideal time frame for department to be awarded is the week of Christmas.

This unit can be a Dry Rescue, Wet Rescue, Pumper, Heavy Rescue or Pumper Tanker. The agency that is awarded will be able to spec out the appropriate apparatus to ensure the apparatus meets their needs.

The review board consists of Platinum Apparatus staff along with local fire department personnel.

Here’s clarifications,

Applications can/will be a volunteer Fire Department or a city or a rural EMS agency of a smaller community can apply for the donation so the vehicles can include pumper tankers, ambulances, brush trucks, tankers, etc.

When we stated new vehicles that meant brand new chassis brand new pump brand new body delivered this does not include used apparatus that was new to your department.

The budget requirement is the actual department budget for an example Oklahoma title 18 rural volunteer fire departments may receive additional sales tax from the county what is typically referred to as a county fire sales tax this additional sales tax does not exclude the agency from applying as this money is typically not set in budget year to year as this money is typically given month-to-month basis for volunteer department to purchase items needed.
As long as the department budget is under $25,000 they can apply regardless of how much money that is given to the county fire sales tax.

If the agency received an AFG and AFG Grant only for a brand new apparatus within the last 10 years that will exclude them from applying for this donation. If you were to get a truck through CBRD or other funding locations, this does not exclude you from applying.
