It’s spotlight time again! Featuring a newcomer from our Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram location - Joseph Partin

Joseph was born and raised right here in Franklin County. He spent five years working in law enforcement as a corrections officer before deciding to pursue a different career path, and he began his new job with us back in November.

Joseph has always had an interest in cars and the automotive industry. He has settled into his new role comfortably with some solid sales already under his belt. He is personable and motivated, and he shows a lot of care and respect for our customers.

It’s time for another employee spotlight!

Introducing 🥁 🥁 🥁 AJ Terrasi !

In the same fashion he settled into the middle Tennessee area 30 years ago after moving here from California, AJ found himself at home at our Ford Tullahoma location two years ago after leaving a career in pest control. He spent a year in the service department working as a technician before deciding to give sales a try - where his personality can really shine!

AJ has excelled since moving to sales, and he is one of their top producers month after month. He is caring and loyal to his customers and coworkers, alike. He always keeps a positive, encouraging attitude, and he’s always willing to lend a helping hand.

Our next spotlight is a new sales consultant at our Kia location - Nazario Smith.

Nazario has only been working with us for a few months, and he’s already proving to be an awesome addition to the automotive family! He’s a natural leader with prior experience in law enforcement, and he takes care of our customers with genuine respect and care.

Born and raised in Manchester, Nazario enjoys spending his time with family and coaching soccer.

Our next spotlight is a company-wide employee who has his hands in a little bit of everything - Bobby Simpson.

Bobby has a lifetime of experience around the car business, from his childhood years at a U-Save Auto Rentals location in Murfreesboro that his grandfather and Russell co-owned together, to his teenage years at our Ford Tullahoma location where his father, Matt Simpson, worked as a salesman and sales manager (and has since then worked his way up to General Manager!).

After college, Bobby returned home and officially joined the Russell Barnett Automotive Family as a full-time employee at Ford Tullahoma where he helped launch our Ford Mobile Service operation. He now serves as operations manager for the automotive family, helping us stay on top of everything from accounting and logistics to insurance and contract management, and everything in between.

Thanks, Bobby, for everything you do! We have loved having you in the automotive family all these years and watching you grow!

Our third automotive family member in this latest round of spotlights is one of the original employees at our Chevrolet GMC location - Mike Dickson.

A Franklin County native, Mike is one of the few employees who "came with the building" when Russell purchased the Chevrolet GMC dealership in 2009, and we are so very grateful he decided to stick around! He is often referred to as a living encyclopedia of GM knowledge, all the way down to individual part numbers. He is the type of leader behind the scenes who helps keep a good business running smoothly, and he is always willing to help mentor the newer employees as they learn their way around the service department.

Thank you for all of your hard work over the years, Mike! We're proud to have you in the Russell Barnett Automotive Family!

Next up for this round of employee spotlights - Dallas Williams from our Ford Wi******er location!

Dallas grew up in the car industry. His uncle owned a dealership, Rockie Williams Premier - now known as Mount Juliet CDJR - where his dad also worked for over 20 years, and Dallas joined them as a sales consultant in 2015.

He joined the Russell Barnett Automotive Family in the Summer of 2023 at our CDJR Wi******er location before recently moving to Ford Wi******er. He is a natural leader who truly cares about his customers and coworkers. He brings a contagious smile and positive energy with him every single day, and he is an inspiration to everyone he works with.

We’re so happy to have you in the automotive family, Dallas! Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication to our customers!

It's time to start sharing some more employee spotlights! First up - Gregory Smischny from our collision center.

Gregory grew up in Colorado before moving to Tennessee, and he has become a valuable asset to our body shop since joining the automotive family nearly a year ago. He has recently completed his ICAR collision damage training and Car-O-Liner digital measuring system training.
