In honor of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, we’ve lowered our park flag to half-mast until sunset on Saturday. 🇺🇸

“American flags nationwide are ordered to be flown at half-staff in honor of the late U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. The flags will remain at half-staff through sunset or until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026.”

We had so much fun watching The Great Race as all those cars traveled down Route 66 - right past our RV Park!

I have photos of 107 cars… although I may have missed a few!

The first car pic was taken at 10:00 am and the last car at 12:09! They were headed West from Amarillo so we were thrilled to literally have front row seats! Enjoy!!

Waiting for the GREAT RACE RALLY cars to start coming by!!

We know they’re close because the race check-in vehicles just stopped across from our park! Front row seats!

The race car at this check-in spot just told us the arrival time is 9:56!!!

The Kaiser Fraiser car club is in Tucumcari for their 68th annual convention. This is part of the parade this morning - on Route 66, of course!! They will have an afternoon and evening car show at the convention center on the west end of town!
