Hi everyone, as our busiest time of the year (September/October) are coming up, here's a helpful reminder of the "PROMO CODES" (discounts) that we currently accept - and where to enter your code on CAMPSPOT.

When you go to "Check-out" in CAMPSPOT, you will see the site and dates you're reserving. Just below is a GREEN link "Enter Promo Code". Please click on it and then enter your code in the Promo Code in ALL CAPS in that box. You will then see your applied discount.

If you forget when making an online reservation - these codes are listed in every RV site description!

Here’s a very unique travel trailer in the park tonight!

It’s not an Airstream travel trailer. It’s a Bowlus Endless Highways Edition travel trailer.

Here’s a tidbit that you may not know…
Tucumcari Mountain is just South of our park. We have a wonderful unobstructive view of this mountain every day! Best view in the city! At night, you can see a lighted “T” on the west side of the mountain. Why ?

Well, if you have ever seen the Pixar movie Cars, you may remember there was the mountain that had “RS” (for Radiator Springs) on the mountain. From what we have gathered, the mountain in the movie is at least loosely based our own Tucumcari Mountain! Of course we’re not positive this is true - but we’re pretty sure it is true! So, instead of “RS” for Radiator Springs, we have a big “T” for Tucumcari!

Here’s a glimpse of how insanely HOT it’s going to be in Tucumcari, NM this week! 😳🥵

Luckily, we do usually have lower humidity here in New Mexico, so that helps.

Side note: I can vividly remember living in SW Florida (most of my life) and as soon as I walked outside, I’d be pouring off sweat because of the 100% humidity! Have to say, I really don’t miss that!

Right now, Bowden, our golden retriever, and I are taking a moment to enjoy the shade and light breeze before it gets REALLY hot! 🥵 
Bowden loves to relax on the cool and shaded concrete on our porch and watch the comings and goings in the park. 🐾

So, consider our lower humidity -and our convenient location on Route 66 - as a “perk” if you decide to stop by our park for the night! As this is our “off-season”, we have plenty of sites available. Just come on in!

Please be sure to stay hydrated on these intense heat days!

In honor of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, we’ve lowered our park flag to half-mast until sunset on Saturday. 🇺🇸

“American flags nationwide are ordered to be flown at half-staff in honor of the late U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham. The flags will remain at half-staff through sunset or until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2026.”
