ADAS tech is powerful but not perfect. Studies have shown some pedestrian detection systems struggle more with darker skin tones or low-light environments. That’s a serious gap in how some vehicles “see” the world, not just a glitch. While automakers are working on improving this tech, it’s another reason regular calibration and proper sensor maintenance matter. These systems are only as reliable as their sensors, and every driver and pedestrian deserves equal protection. 🤝
