Arizona Border Region SCCA The Tucson, AZ Area Region of the Sports Car Club of America

The Sports Car Club of America is represented in the Tucson and southern Arizona area by the Arizona Border Region, region #88, which is part of the larger SCCA Southern Pacific Division. The Arizona Border region host Solo events, more commonly referred to as autocross, we also have Rallycross events and Road Rally events. The Region also holds monthly board meetings, typically the first Tuesday

of each month, which are open to anyone interested in the SCCA, autocross, or the Region's activities. A complete schedule of our events and board meetings can be found on our website at http://www.azbrscca.org.

The primary emphasis of the Tire Rack Street Survival® is a "hands-on" driving experience in real-world situations! We use your own car to teach you about its handling limits and how you can control them. The students will become more observant of the traffic situation they find themselves in. They will learn to look far enough ahead to anticipate unwise actions of other drivers. As the students master the application of physics to drive their cars, they will make fewer unwise driving actions themselves. They will understand why they should always wear their own seatbelts, and why they should insist that their passengers wear seatbelts, too.

We’re proud to announce our partnership with the Arizona Border Region of SCCA Autocross—and the very first Autocross event ever held at the Podium Club!

Never done Autocross before? No problem. SCCA Autocross (also called “Solo”) is one of the easiest ways to get started in motorsports. Drivers run one at a time on a course, focusing on car control and precision—not top speed. Speeds stay under 60 mph, making it fun, approachable, and low-stress for beginners.

Registration for the Feb-24 (yes, it’s a Saturday) autocross event at Musselman Honda Circuit is now open!!

It will close on THURSDAY, Feb-22 at 7PM so don’t miss it!

Because of the time limit (need to leave the venue by 2PM), we take A/B & C/D schedule (no grid/paddock moves between comp-run and time-only, just one switch of the grid between B & C.)

The site will open at 7:00AM and tech closes at 8:15AM.

We are looking for assistance in tech.
