Harrison Performance is looking for a skilled, driven individual to join our team and help us take Tucson to the next level! We specialize in both domestic muscle cars and import performance and exotic vehicles

Position: Automotive Technician/Performance Specialist Location: Tucson, AZ

Type: Full-Time

What We’re Looking For:
* 2+ years of experience working in the automotive field, preferably with performance vehicles. Entry-level candidates with relevant training or a strong mechanical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.
* Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, suspension, electrical).
* Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
* A genuine passion for high-performance and custom vehicles.
* Experience with aftermarket performance modifications and forced induction
* Certifications, such as ASE, or other industry qualifications, are a plus.
* Ability to think outside the box and solve complex problems.
* Must have your own tools and tool box
* Must have a reliable mode of transportation
Responsibilities:
* Perform diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicle makes and models, specializing in performance vehicles.
* Install and configure performance parts, including engine components, exhaust systems, suspension upgrades, and tuning software.
* Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
* Collaborate with other technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
* Keep accurate records of work performed.

Harrison Performance is looking for an EXPERIENCED Technician. We are looking for a motivated, punctual, fast learning individual looking to work in a fast paced work environment; someone that can follow directions and think out of the box.
Pay dependent on experience level. You MUST have references and MUST have your own reliable transportation.
*IF YOU DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS LISTED, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY.
DAILY TASKS:
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance on modified and non-modified vehicles.
•Test drive vehicles, and test component systems using both basic and specialized diagnostic tools and service equipment.
•Install aftermarket, bolt-on parts and accessories.
•Work on high end, performance vehicles in a fast paced environment.
•Add modifications to high end vehicles.
•Handle stressful situations and strict deadlines.
•Maintain and clean shop equipment immediately after use.
•Relay technical information to coworkers and customers; good communication is essential.
REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be 18 years or older.
•Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
•Must have and maintain valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
•Two years MINIMUM mechanical (on the job) experience.
•Must have full time availability, Monday - Friday.
•Must possess proficiency in driving manual vehicles.
•Performance modification experience.
•Attention to detail and pride in workmanship is a must.
•Must provide at least two professional and two personal references.
•Personal tools and tool box are required. (NOT Harbor Freight specials)
•ASE certification or equivalent is a plus.
•Experience mounting and balancing tires preferred.
•Must be able to effectively coexist in a team setting with a variety of personalities.
•Must be able to positively accept constructive criticism and make necessary corrections.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be able to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds without assistance.
•Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time.
•Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, squatting, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
• Possesses fine motor skills to safely operate tools.
• Compensation to vary based on experience, skill level, and completion of initial probationary period.
