Here's a great start to the rally season. There are a lot of on-road and off-road runs planned to make full use of the Gelände/Straße our bikes are built for.

The price is very reasonable and the friends you'll see and make are first rate.
April 17-19.

The Iron Horse BMW rally will have something for everyone. There will be great touring rides, either guided or solo, to visit Old Town Bisbee, Tombstone, or historic Douglas. There are lots of opportunities for adventure riders in the surrounding Chiricahua Mountains. RawHyde Adventures will be here…

You're Invited to a GS Ride Saturday March 21st.

Ride from Benson, AZ to Mammoth, AZ through scenic San Pedro River Valley.
This ride is suitable for all dual-sport bikes including R 1200 GS.
All riders including novices are welcome!

Where:
Meet at the TTT Truck Stop at I-10 and Craycroft Rd. Departure for Benson will be at 9am sharp. Please be fueled and ready.
Route:
We'll travel through Cascabel, Redington and follow the San Pedro River to Mammoth. It will be about 70 miles with 40 miles of graded dirt roads. There will be lots of curves for practice on loose surfaces.
The route is very scenic with many photo possibilities.
At Mammoth, lunch is planned at the La Casita restaurant just south of town.

Our friend, Mark Carrera posted this, but we wanted it to be seen more easily by the group...

I just arrived on my F800GS from Maine. I'll be here in Tucson for about a month. Can any give me a road condition for the backside of Mt Lemmon? I would like to ride it in a week or so. As I remember, its not a super tough ride, but its been many years since I lived here and more years since I went up. Also, is anyone interested in riding up with me,and if so, when would be best?

Here is an album full of epic photos from the BMW "One World. One R 1200 GS" tour earlier this year. Any photo of something on two wheels is great... But Adventure Bike photos are the best..!

Among the team was Ulla Lohmann, a world renowned National Geographic Photographer. Her photos are truly exquisite, capturing the incredible uniqueness and beauty we have come to enjoy here in California.
