If you are appreciating us a little more this week, do me a favor. Share the crap out of our Anniversary race. And SHOW UP.
We can pack the place. We can make up for the BS weather we had ALL of June. We want to be here for years to come, for generations to come.
Maybe you don’t (or didn’t) appreciate the little track in northwest NJ until this week. Maybe you were one of the few that didn’t believe a 30 year old woman could resurrect a “dead” racetrack. How about now?
We operate this track because we love this sport. We are racers too, or at least we were. Its been 12 years since we raced a points day, but you know, maybe someday.
We also do it to put food in our kids bellies. It’s not an easy business to live on, but we’ve been doing it for 10 years now. Sure if I had a few million dollars in side businesses we could pour concrete and asphalt all day.
The truth is, we are a middle class family, operating a grassroots drag strip for 63 freaking years. We can survive but we need you to show up.
