I am only mentioning that I'm selling something on Ebay because it is something weird. 25 years ago I got a hot tip from Alan Schinazi , that if you called a special phone number you could buy a Twentieth Anniversary MacIntosh, the $10,000 computer for the ultra wealthy, at a clearance price. I did and it was like buying a piece of the future.

The project for Apple was a bit of a flop. People like their technology to be straightforward, not bespoke and extra fancy. Besides in many ways it had to be the same computer underneath or else it wouldn't run the same software. It did have a wild sound system, and a TV tuner so you could watch TV while you worked.

I loved the computer and started my company with it. When it became obsolete in 2005 I packed it away in its premium box and put it in a closet.

Now, they are a strange collector's item and I'm selling mine. It is likely one of the most unusual things I have every purchased.

I hope you have a friend sorta like my friend Nicole McCree. She is smart and can take charge. When she opened a cafe I knew it would be great, but it is in Miami so it took until today for me to get here. Aroma Cafe is between South Beach and the airport.
