2006 Chevy 2500 Duramax LBZ. The very tip of the glow plug broke off on 2 of them and fell down it the cylinder. 1 on each side. This is another example of how a simple job can go to a big expensive repair real quick and it is out of your control if this happens. That is also why we take the time to explain to the customer about what could happen prior to performing repairs like this.

We tried to fish the tips out through the injector bore but we were not successful. We ended up pulling both cylinder heads.

2021 chevy 3500 Duramax L5P. The exhaust up-pipes cracked at the bellows, turbocharger leaking oil at the drain pipe, RH exhaust manifold broke all 3 bolts off in it when removing the up-pipe. This was no match for Kyle though. He had the cab up and everything apart by the end of the day Friday. Even in this extreme heat wave we had. Great job.

We have a 2019 ford f-250 come in for charging system issues and low power under a load. Bill tested all the electrical circuits to both alternators and proved the main alternator failed internally. Bill then checked the fuel filter and found a lot of shiny metal flakes and some rusty flakes. The cp4 strikes again. This one will require an entire fuel system replacement. Bill did a great job on the diagnosis and gathered all the proper information to prove it.

It’s hard to tell in the picture but there is a lot of metal flakes in the diesel fuel from the filter. Yes the drain pan and magnet was cleaned prior.

What we have here is a 2018 Buick enclave with the newer R1234YF Freon. The evaporator failed. While replacing the evaporator we also replace the heater core while we are in there. Boy, GM made this repair pretty time consuming, if you couldn’t tell. Kyle knocked this out and did an excellent job. Way to go.

17 years of automotive/diesel/military vehicle maintenance. Spent 12 years in the Marine Corps as a Motor Transportation Operations Chief. Married for 10 years, with two children. In the off time I enjoy riding motorcycles and spending time at the river with my family.
