The Spike The Spike is a Toyota buggy project over 10 years in the making.

Introducing, “The Spike”
“The Spike” is a ministry dream that I have had for nearly 10 years and is finally coming to reality. The project, which I am requesting public help in funding, is a plan that was revealed to me through many smaller events and experiences in my life. Before I explain the plan, please bear with me as I explain very briefly, how some of these events have developed the plan and built the desires in my heart to see this through.

Followers, please keep this in prayer. 2026 I have decided is the year the Spike gets done, or sold.
I really don't want to sell, but I'm over my head and have other priorities, so I need prayer to glory God in this decision.

The ridiculously high humidity this week has been creating a lot of rust. I was able to get a little over an hour from cleaning one section of the cage and then coating it with WD and finally a light coat of spray paint just to keep it from rusting again, hopefully.
If anyone wants to do any work on the spike and I'm always looking for volunteers. 😉

Today's project was too get the garage organized a bit more and able to work.Next step, open up the boxes and sort parts...

The End of the Journey
Well, at about 10:40pm we rolled into Troy after 18-hours on the road.
We unloaded with the help of friends and family and we're in bed before midnight.
The Spike is Home!
There's still a lot to go, but now I can work when I have time and money, mostly money.
A huge shout-out goes to Randy if Extreme Overkill Fabrication and Mike, Derek, and the crew from Off Road Solutions . Everyone did amazing work while they had the buggy. It has been my pleasure over all these years, and I can't say thanks enough.

It Runs Baby!
I can honestly tell you this brought a joy to my heart to hear this vehicle run again. It's a long way from done, but it's coming home a running vehicle.
I cannot say enough positive for Mike, Derek, and the entire team at Off Road Solutions . You guys have truly been a blessing to me. I came out here to Colorado skeptical that I was going to even want to finish this project, but hearing it run even with your borrowed parts is such a big thing and I really appreciate it. I know I have a long way to go but you guys truly have been a blessing over this past three to four years.
