We are seeking a Heavy Truck Mechanic and/or tire tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of heavy trucks and trailers, ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues effectively. this is a mobile on call position, with company truck provided. you will need all tools 1/2" drive and smaller.

Duties

●keep company truck clean and neat.
●Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy trucks and trailers.
●Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
●Conduct electrical repairs, including troubleshooting wiring and electrical systems.
●Repair and replace components such as shocks, brakes, and tires.
●Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations while ●performing all tasks.

Skills:

●Proficient in heavy trucks and trailers operation with hands-on experience.
●Changing truck tires
●Changing tractor tires and fluid pumping is a plus
●Knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus.
●Experience with shocks, brake repair, and tire service.
●Understanding of electrical systems related to heavy trucks and trailers
●Previous experience as a service technician or tire tech is required.
●Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
●Excellent communication skills to work effectively on your own.

Added to the fleet today. Got the box truck loaded down and in service. It's loaded down with tires to better meet the need of customers. New bridgestones, geoquest and used 11R22.5 and low pro 22.5 also keeping 17.5 and 19.5s on the truck. Plus more at the storage shop.
