Just finished up this little project and it was definitely an interesting one. This JD 4520's stock 404 engine was well beyond worn out so we replaced it with a 466 engine from a JD combine providing a significant boost in horsepower and reliability. All said and done there is parts from both machines and some new parts from a 4840 to graft it all together.

Some days things just don't go according to plan. A simple starter replacement went south because the starter was seized very badly in the bell housing.
