Paul Gargus (on left, pictured with tuner Chris Terry) had a Pro Mod debut for the ages Saturday night at the Shakedown at M'Town at US 131 Motorsports Park in Martin, Michigan. Piloting the silver Harts Charger-equipped '69 Camaro out of the Scott Tidwell Racing camp, Gargus not only defeated reigning Mid-West Drag Racing Series points champion Aaron Wells in the final round, he set a new MWDRS elapsed time record with his 3.547-second blast at 211.47 mph.

Good race weekends are hard to find, but every once in a while you stumble upon one. This weekend just so happened to be that one for us.

Chris was back on tuning duty for Scott Tidwell’s ‘69 Camaro with Paul Gargus driving. Paul’s very first time driving a ProMod and parked it in the winners circle.
He drove his tail off all weekend. Chris tuned it up every time with killer runs, where the final run reset the MWDRS ProMod class ET record.

3.547 @ 211mph

This car is a gem, and we’re proud to have two wins with it. 🏆

US 60 Dragway - Battle for the Thrones was good to us!!! Double up wins this weekend with Stack Racing in LDR and Maddie Malone Obryant won in Gangster X! Bringing two thrones back to Alabama!

We look forward to the next one in Michigan in a few weeks and hope to carry that momentum on!

The beautiful turn key build we did for Scott Tidwell Racing with Jason Collins behind the wheel just went to #2 with a 5.672 @ 251mph in Q2 at the NHRA Southern Nationals at SGMP! Jason is behind teammate Derek Menholt who’s in the #1 position with a 5.65 @ 253mph!
