Code “EGR valve low flow”?
Before you spend hundreds of dollars on a sensor or EGR valve like this,
“Take it where they test, not guess”
The same exact code can be caused by multiple issues, not just the EGR valve.
In this case, a simple inlet tube cleaning is all that was needed. (Not a EGR replacement for 300+ dollars). Protect your investment, and keep your costs down to what actually needs to be done to correct the light.
EGR valves when working properly can boost fuel economy as much as 3-5 miles per gallon.

Carbon build up on Di (Direct injection) engines intake valves caused by mis-design of the pvc system are a major problem.
It will lead to misfires, mechanical failures and reduced engine life.

If you own a Di Engine, you will want to consider a catch can install. This devise is installed to catch most of the vapors that cause the build up @ a cost normally around 200-300 complete, but the savings in fuel economy, mechanical domino effect and extended trouble free running will save you thousand$ in the long haul. 👍

Parts quality is a major consideration when it comes to Safety, Steering, & Braking systems.
Zinc coated, high carbon rotors, are rust resistant, and carry a much longer warranty then the other options out there. Second to procedure, knowing you have some of the best rotors available when serviced, and won’t be seeing all the rust and dust all over your wheels in 6 months. The price difference isn’t very much, and the benefits outweigh the alternative. 👍

Does your direct injection engine have a “Catch Can” , Keep your performance and unnecessary costly repairs from occurring by having one installed.
Why? Pcv vapors (condensation , fuel and oil) are taken from your engine and re fed back into the intake per norm. The difference with a direct injection engine is the fuel is no longer sprayed at the intake valves, but directly into the combustion chamber. This is a problem for the pcv system vapors that collect on the intake valves and are never washed away by the spray of fuel. Eventually the build up gets so bad it causes misfires, poor economy & performance, and will require extensive labor to correct properly. Keep this from happening ask us about having a catch can installed today.

Today’s cars are run by multiple computers and systems with hundreds of inputs, outputs, powers and grounds. Re occurring codes and problems can be caused by corrosion of system wiring and / or software issues. You don’t have to bring your vehicle to a dealership to get your computers software update diagnosed, or installed.

Today’s vehicles are heavily reliant on computers. Some have more then ten different system computers, Vehicles are shipped from the factory with a, Tune, or what we call a calibration software (instructions for the computers). In the months and years later a software may be released that has many improvements in fuel economy shift quality, false check engine lights, and other issues that can be non-part problem issues.
You may think you need to take your vehicle to the dealer for this service, very few shops reprogram computers. Here at True Care Auto Service, we can check your vehicles for recalls, technical service bulletins, and “Tune updates”.
