A crew from Stanley Subaru, our district manager from Subaru of New England, and many Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital crew went around delivering pink Hershey Kisses and leaving bowlfuls at stations around the campus including women's health, the breast clinic, Mary Dow, information, registration, the cafeteria, and emergency reception. President John Ronan happily raced us (walking) around the hospital doling out the pink Hershey Kisses.

We gave about sixteen pounds of Kisses total. We didn't handcount them, but it's roughly as many kisses as the $21,500 Stanley Subaru has donated through Test Drives for the Cure since 2009. We surpassed $20,000 on our 20th anniversary!

This was our sixth annual October Test Drives for the Cure where we donate money directly to mammogram scholarships for early detection.

For every test drive in October, we donated $10 to the scholarships. No purchase necessary. We had hundreds of test drives this year. Thanks to our guests we've donated over $10,000 over the history of the event that go directly to patient care!

To celebrate a record number of test drives for our October Test Drives for the Cure, April Bellatty and her team at Maine Coast Memorial Hospital made some delicious, antioxidant and nutrient-rich blueberry smoothies for Stanley Subaru and the hospital to celebrate.

For the cancer care teams that couldn't break away, Mark even delivered!

Our heartfelt thanks to all our guests who made this possible, to April and the food and nutrition team at the hospital for the delicious treat, and to everyone at the hospital for helping grow this partnership. Thank you.
