On a completely different note. March segment 1 and 2 are open for registration.

Segment 1 requires the student is 14 years and 8 months old by the first day of class. This class has driving lessons calculated for taking place during spring break. Please ensure you are not leaving town for the entire break or more. Students are required to be completed in 6 weeks per state deadlines.

Segment 2 requires at least 30 of the 50 driving hours complete and having held the level 1 license for at least 3 months. You do not have to have taken segment 1 with us in order to take segment 2 with us.

This is devastating. Another goofy and happy kid gone. Jason was hilarious and always saying something off the wall back when he was in my class. Something has to change around here. This is a heavy season for all of us in TC and surrounding. 💔

I always say "Roundabouts aren't stupid. People are." It's crazy how doing the speed on the yellow sign helps you navigate flawlessly, even through the stupid people. 😂

During National Roundabouts Week, the OHSP is highlighting the critical role modern roundabouts play in enhancing roadway safety. According to the Federal Highway Administration, roundabouts can reduce injury and fatal crashes by an average of 82 percent at intersections where they are installed.
Rules of the roundabout:
- Slow down. Going slower better prepares drivers to yield to other road users.
- Look around. When approaching the roundabout, look for signs and markings about speed and lane choice.
- Be ready to yield. Drivers entering the roundabout must yield to traffic in all lanes of the roundabout, not just in the lane closest to them. Bicyclists should enter the roundabout with vehicles or dismount to use sidewalks and crosswalks.

TC road testing Update!!!

Northwest Education Services has experienced a family emergency. The road tester's husband needs open heart surgery and she can't risk infection for the foreseeable future while she cares for him. They are not offering road tests unless they can find a replacement or she can come back post emergency surgery. She feels terrible needing to cancel, but I've assured her that family is so much more important!!

Premier Driving Academy in Manistee
Char-Em ISD in Charlevoix

Happy Labor Day!!

As promised, another month of classes is open. February segment 1 and segment 2 are available. First Monday of every month I will open the next month. I don't have a set time since I'm neurospicy and don't need rules like that. haha.

The website walks you though the registration process depending on the class you need.

Segment 1 student has to be 14 years and 8 months old by the first day of class.

Segment 2 student has to have held the level 1 license from SOS for at least 3 months and logged at least 30 of their 50 total hours. (2 of their 10 nighttime as well)
