Before you put the boat away for the season, take a second to set yourself up for a hassle-free spring!

Northern Michigan weather can turn quickly, and a little prep work now saves major headaches later. Here are 3 things every boat owner should do before closing out the season:

1. Thorough Inspection: Check running rigging, hull hardware, and safety gear for wear and tear so you can order replacements over the winter.

2. Clean & Protect: Wash down canvas, dry out sails completely before folding, and clear out all non-perishables to prevent mildew and pests.

3. Lock In Your Winterization Plan: Don’t wait until the first hard freeze to schedule service.

We make off-season care effortless. Our team handles everything on-site across Traverse City and the Grand Traverse Bay area: engines, plumbing, systems, canvas, sails, and shrink wrap.
