Throughout that time, we have learned a lot and grown to be the largest rental company north of Grand Rapids. With a fleet of over 75 boats and 30 employees in the summer, we are prepared to handle your boating needs. We pride ourselves with on time scheduling and good reliable equipment including everything from kayaks, all the way up to our Monterey Cabin Cruiser. We will go any reasonable lengths to make your boating time in Traverse City an experience to remember.

You know how to drive, but do you know how to read our local waters? Northern Michigan’s crystal-clear bays and lakes are stunning, but the colors also tell a story about depth.

🩵 Bright Turquoise / Light Blue: Very shallow water or a sandbar! Trim up your motor and watch your depth finder closely.
💙 Deep Blue / Dark Green: Deep, open water. Safe for cruising and watersports.
🪸 Dark Patches in Clear Water: Drop-offs, w**d beds, or rocky bottoms. Keep an eye out and avoid high speeds over these spots.
