Saturday was a nice morning to take a drive up to Classic Instruments annual open house. A great team of people greeted visitors and raised money for their local PD. It’s amazing to have an industry leader so close to home.

The shop has some momentum right now! This 36 Buick restomod left today. We installed the headliner and made the carpets. The client is taking it home to finish the rest. He did most of the work with help from a few friends, we’re just happy to lend a hand and get him on the road

And just like that, summer is ending. Our intern Alyssa Ritchie is heading back to McPherson College to continue as a sophomore in McPherson College Restoration. She vehemently expressed her interest in taking on upholstery this summer and she stepped into the shop with no formal upholstery training to tackle several jobs. One of which is the assembly of this 1955 MGTF. Our team has put in several hours to this restoration that arrived in boxes. Dissecting each and every component and restoring to new. We’re looking forward to the release of this car in a few weeks and are very grateful for Alyssa’s hand in this project. Join me in congratulating her on a job well done and best of luck in her endeavors!

Setup with Detmetco and Stu at the Columbus show. We collaborated on the fender flares for the Scout project at the same time they’re working on the first prototype of amc_amx3. It’s going to be a great weekend. Gotta thank Michael Chetcuti and Kyle Evans Design for this opportunity.
