It's been a big week around here for the crew. We are excited to say we've completed our first Dometic DG3 Gyro install. In typical Evolution style we like a challenge. This unit had to be completely disassembled and reassembled in the space to fit! The nice thing about the DG3 compared to it's competition is it's all electric and there is almost no maintenance! I can't speak highly enough about our crew for tackling this challenge head on and knocking it out of the park. The fiberglass work needed for mounting was done by ferry_point_marina. Give us a shout if your interested in one of these amazing units.

The Dometic DG3 is the marine industry's first actively controlled, all-electric gyro stabilizer. Designed for boats ranging from 35 to 41 feet, it eliminates up to 95% of boat roll, runs with 40% less power consumption than competitors, and requires virtually zero hydraulic maintenance.Key Features and SpecsAll-Electric Actuator: By avoiding traditional hydraulics, the DG3 requires zero fluid changes or leak maintenance.Fast Spin Times: Reaches operational speed in about 16 minutes and fully spins down in under 20 minutes.Power Efficiency: Uses a dedicated 48-volt lithium battery. During spin-down, it recaptures energy to recharge the system.Durability: Features sealed needle bearings and a corrosion-resistant titanium heat exchanger.Dimensions: Approximately 27" L x 27" W x 23" H, weighing 570 lbs.
