Just spreading some bodyshop knowledge from my experience over 15 years since ive seen this far too much.
If you're in an accident 1. Is everyone OK ? Yes , good. Your lives are way more valuable than a vehicle. 2. Take a breath and think of anyone you know and trust in the industry. 3. INSURANCE COMPANIES CANNOT MAKE YOU GOTO ANY SHOP ON THEIR LIST. You have every right to take your vehicle to anyone.

Additionally , 9 times out of ten you will recieve a better experience with a small shop instead of huge shops. ( my personal opinion working at both large and small and now starting my own shop) why? Because we survive from our quality of work. You feed our families so we insure the experience is the best we can provide given the circumstance. We rely on your continued business and the word you spread. We try to help with deductibles ( if we can ). We understand a sh*tty situation and try our best to turn that around. Most large companies i personally worked for wouldn't think twice about helping a deductible even for an employee. Support your local shops, knowing a few in the area .. they're great guys and also have the same mindset.
