My work van overheated and popped the upper radiator hose. I figured it'd be the thermostat being stuck closed causing the back pressure. After that replacement, it kept overheating because nearly all the coolant drained out of the engine so air is trapped within.

These Toyotas are usually very well at self bleeding but this is one of those cases where I had to remove the radiator cap, burp the radiator until the air all escaped. Now good to go

Fu***ng terrible design. Had to remove everything to reach the starter. Advised lady she will definitely be charged a lot from most mechanics in the future. As these vehicles are being with less sense in order to make more cents. HYUNDAI/KIA = TRASH
