Another reminder of just how much Lake Hartwell has changed with the low water levels.

This boater has taken the same route through this area for many years, but with the lake continuing to drop, there are now very few places where they can safely cut through.

Unfortunately, this time they got stuck. Thankfully, they were a TowBoatUS member, so they paid $0 out of pocket for the assistance!

Our captain was able to get them unstuck and back on their way so they could drive away and continue enjoying their day on the lake. 🙌

⚠️ If you’re boating on Lake Hartwell, don’t assume your usual route is still safe. Water levels can change, and areas you’ve traveled through for years may no longer have the clearance they once did.

She was out on one jet ski when it suddenly shut off. She had someone nearby who was on her other ski & was able to come pick her up.

But then, while trying to beat the approaching storm, the tow rope got sucked up — so now both jet skis needed a tow back! 😬

Luckily, she was a TowBoatUS member, so she paid $0 out of pocket for the covered towing service. 🙌

Our captain got both jet skis safely back to the dock — and somehow, we barely beat the storm ourselves! ⛈️

Another reminder that you never know when you might need a tow. Having a membership can make a stressful situation a whole lot easier.
