The 2026 Freeze Out Jeep Ride in the Smokies route will be led by the Townsend Area Volunteer Fire Department's Jeep Gladiator. We will depart from Cades Cove Outpost at 1:00 pm ET and make our way through the Cades Cove Loop (an 11 mile, stock-friendly, scenic drive in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park) and back. ⏰ 12:00 pm ET - Lineup | 1:00 pm ET - Departure

It looks like rain is expected…and as a reminder this event is RAIN or SHINE. We will be riding regardless (even if it means Jeeps are all buttoned up). Note that there will be no on-site storage for tops, doors or panels.

Towns End Coffee, Good Hombres Tacos, Tortas & More, and Clean Smoke BBQ will be on-site starting at 10:00 am ET. So, be sure to arrive early, eat, and purchase/pick up exclusive event merchandise.

This ride is FREE for all! We do ask that you bring a cash donation to help us raise funds for Cades Cove Preservation Association.

A true Smoky Mountain classic. "Freeze Out" with us THIS SATURDAY (January 10)!

Lineup for the ride will begin at 12:00 pm ET behind The Outpost.
Ride will depart for Cades Cove at 1:00 pm ET.

We will have a food truck on-site prior to the lineup and event merchandise will be available for purchase starting at 9:00 am.

**This event is rain or shine! Jeep doors and tops optional**
