It has been a long but productive week here at SPT! Got this fully built 47re done and in this 2nd gen along with heat exchanger bypass and delete with a mishimoto cooler! Original exchanger burst and filled the transmission full of coolant! Next we have a mega cab that lost overdrives and is leaving with a superstock 68RFE with added o/d clutches and some billet goodies. Not pictured is a 48RE we fully refreshed while the customer waited. Next on the bench is a full comp 48re and a 66RFE. Get booked let’s get going!

This 47re came in for no reverse, or o/d and lockup. Once torn apart we saw that the heat exchanger had burst and started to break down the clutch material, upon inspection the direct drum showed a crack all the way around. Customer opted for a heat exchanger bypass, billet shafts, and we hooked him up with 48re planetaries and direct drum! This will be a very stout unit for this old 2nd gen! Extremely thankful to have the support and customer base to be able to do this. That being said we’ve got another full comp 48re, 2 fmvb 47re’s, a 68rfe, and extremely excited to start this turbo 400, going behind a supercharged Monte Carlo! So cool! We like staying busy so get with us to get in!
