Guess we should post a little more. Any tips and tricks you guys have learned on your 67’s and 8’s? I know that one full coil cut from the stock rear springs will level the car out. Also an HEI from a 71 or 72 goes into a 68 with just a little finessing or deleting of the smog tube. Make a huge improvement on power/ mileage and reliability if you ask me. Have to run a new power wire with a full 12volts from ignition source. I like to interrupt it with a hidden switch so it’s more theft proof. Like someone would be able to figure all my operating procedures anyway. Driving my car is like playing a video game with half inch bags and ten switches. Also, keep the quadrajet, rebuild it. It’s the best carb ever made. Unscrew the kickstand thing on top center of the carb that limits the secondaries. One screw. It’s brass colored. Then go mash the gas. lol. If you haven’t done this yet, do it. Opens the barn doors. You’ll be burning tires off of it. 68’s anyway. Let us hear some of your discoveries and tricks.

67 fender extensions and bezels used as a French kit for 67/8 deVilles. Pictured is a friend’s Frenched headlights on a 68 using 67 bezels and extensions. I urge all of you to steer away from stock if it just looks better. There isn’t a way for the stock setup to even get close to how clean this looks. Pliogrip 90 or panel bonder the extends to the fender, then a file and some Kitty haired filler. 67 Bezels are removable after the graft. 68’s extensions have a strap that goes around the center of the bezel which kills being able to remove the bezel.

FYI this fuel filter works for the 68 Deville in place of the rare and expensive ac GF-432. A lot of people try to find it but it’s not being made and is way overpriced. This one is $9.00 and what I found that works. Just add fuel hose to your hard lines. No need to remove your fittings. Just leave em.
