*Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose and perform quality maintenance and repair of trailers.
*Build, rebuild, and repair all parts of trailer equipment to specifications as assigned.
*Read and understand job orders ensuring corrective action and the documentation of repair processes to company standards.
*Assist other technicians on work orders/jobs requiring assistance.
*Provide excellent customer service to communicate with customers and vendors to effectively resolve issues.

*Perform roadside service on over-the-road tractor-trailers and heavy-duty equipment.
*Manage maintenance on trucks.
Repairs include Brakes, dolly legs, lighting, side panel, and roof patching, etc.
*Annual FHWA inspections.
*When mobile maintenance work is not available, perform assigned duties in the main shop.
*Keep an up-to-date inventory of items in a service truck.
*Manage clients on the field with a good attitude.

*Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on heavy duty semi-tractors and trailers
*Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
*Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals and parts manuals
*Positive interface with supervisor, co-workers, parts department and most important our customers
*Prepare proper documentation of actions taken to create billable work orders
*Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
*Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
*Skills and Experience Requirements
*Minimum two (2) years’ experience in truck and trailer maintenance (preferred). *Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractor and trailer. Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background (with own tools)
