Distractions behind the wheel put roadside operators in immediate danger. Put the phone down, stay focused, and move over when approaching tow trucks.

REST IN PEACE Chief!

IN MEMORIAM | CHIEF FLANAGAN 3400

It is with profound sadness that we mourn the tragic passing of Chief 3400 Brian Flanagan of Ridgeway Vol. Fire Co. #1 Sta. 34.

Chief Flanagan leaves behind a legacy of dedication, service, and commitment that will not be forgotten. His presence in Station 34, throughout our township, and among those who knew and relied on him will be deeply missed. His impact extended beyond the firehouse, including the many customers and families he served through his business, Gotta Go Septic. Even in his everyday work, he was a man who showed up, put in the effort, and served others. His loss is truly devastating. His commitment to protecting others, serving his community, and supporting those around him was a reflection of the kind of man he was.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, Station 34 members, colleagues, and everyone whose life he touched.

Rest easy, Chief. Thank you for your years of service and sacrifice. Your watch may be over, but your legacy will live on.

Rest in peace, Chief 3400 Brian Flanagan.

Forever remembered. Never forgotten.

🏁 BITTERSWEET START TO THE 2026 SEASON 🏁

Yesterday had a little bit of everything for Danica & Pierce…

🥶 First off… it was COLD. Like, really cold.

🔧 Unfortunately, Pierce’s car kept shutting off. We’ve got a few ideas and are diving into it this morning to figure it out. He was beyond frustrated, and rightfully so. That led to a DNF in both the heat and feature not how he wanted to start the season, but we’ll be back stronger 💪

🏎 Danica’s heat race didn’t go as planned either…pulled #1 so she started P1 but finished P5 after getting shuffled back and struggling to find speed.

But then… 🔥

After some advice from people she trusts and looks up to, she reset and came READY.

💥 Started 9th in the feature
💥 Charged her way to 4th
💥 Locked into tonight’s feature

And WOW… what a drive. One of the best we’ve ever seen from her 👏

💥 Even better, out of 13 cars, the TOP 4 drivers last night were ALL females. Absolutely incredible to witness and be a part of 💗🏁

We’re back at it TODAY and hoping both kids can put together strong runs!
