We will be heading to the track shortly, unfortunately we will be doing it as spectators.

It wasn't for lack of effort. We just couldn't overcome the issues with keeping the transmission cool.

Back to the drawing board once we return home. Thank you all for the support!

Quick update:

It's been a tough season so far. Our good engine started eating itself almost immediately, jury is still out on why. We did 4 track days and although we got the short times to improve, the car would fall on it's face by 6000rpm in 1st. We did all types of things to diagnose but at the end of the day a leak down test told the story. The engine was cooked and we were done.

Instead of throwing in the towel, I started prepping a gen 4 5.3 I had in the shop. That went fairly well, hit a few hiccups but nothing catastrophic.

After fighting to get the car to spool and making almost every change possible and scrambling for parts we think we have it close enough.

We loaded up for Midwest Drags hoping to be able to run better than 10.50 everyday, that would put us in the running to win a 1967 Chevy II.

I have a lot of people and companies to thank, that will come later. I am way too exhausted to do it now, I don't want to miss anyone.(I probably will because there are so many)

We will keep you posted as much as possible. I don't have a good fuel map yet for this setup so day one will be basically be a test session and the 1st drive will be a street tune session. 😃

Wish us luck, we need it!

Let's go!

Looking for an extra set of hands on days we hit the track. We have a couple rentals coming up during the week and may hit some other races during the season depending on how things go.

Long hours, no pay, lots of frustration, large chance of failure and tons of fun! Shoot me a message if you have a flexible schedule and are interested! 😁
