ATTENTION 2022-2024 Nissan Roque Owner!!!

If you own a 2022-2024 Nissan Roque please be aware of a serious common oil drain pan issue effecting these vehicles. The vehicles are manufactured with PLASTIC oil pans that have a metal insert that the drain plug is threaded into. These inserts are separating from the plastic drain pan during oil changes which requires a replacement of the drain pan. This is a result of a design flaw from the publications I have read. There is not a specific recall for an oil pan issue on the Nissan Rogue, but there have been reports and investigations regarding a plastic oil pan with a drain plug that can fall out, particularly on the 2022-2023 Nissan Rogue with the 1.5L KR15DDT engine. This issue can lead to oil leaks and potential engine damage. While not a formal recall, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (.gov) issued a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) regarding this drain plug issue

🗓️🚘 Two Months To Go: Changes Coming to Texas’ Vehicle Safety Inspection Program 🗓️🚘

Beginning January 1, 2025, most vehicle safety inspections will be eliminated in Texas.

What does this mean for you? All non-commercial vehicles will no longer need a vehicle safety inspection prior to registration. A select number of counties will still require emissions tests, which drivers will need to complete prior to their vehicle registration.

With changes coming to the state’s Vehicle Safety Inspection Program, this may be a question you're asking yourself.

While comprehensive vehicle safety inspections will be eliminated for all non-commercial vehicles, Texans whose vehicles are registered in emissions counties will still be required to have emissions tests.
