✨ In this episode of Taylor Community Connection, Community Ambassador Tom Cole sits down with Dr. Adam Fineske, President & CEO of WGTE Public Media, to talk about taking a leap into a new chapter and finding a familiar purpose in an unexpected place. 📺🎙️

After 26 years in public education and nearly a decade as a superintendent, Adam was ready for a new challenge. He shares what inspired his move to WGTE and how he quickly discovered that public education and public media have something important in common: helping create a more informed, educated, and connected community.

Adam also shines a light on the work WGTE does beyond television and radio, from supporting local teachers and young learners to sharing positive stories about the people and places that make Northwest Ohio special.

With WGTE celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2027, Adam discusses his vision for the future, the challenges following the loss of federal funding, and why community partnerships, including the longtime support of the Taylor Automotive Family, are more important than ever.

🍻 Amy Kinsel never expected her career path to take her from pharmacy to hospitality. After years of moving every one to two years during her husband’s active duty military career, her family found something special in each new community: a welcoming neighborhood place where they could relax, connect, and feel at home. When they returned to the Toledo area, they wanted to create that same feeling for others.

On this episode of Women in the Driver’s Seat, Amy shares what she has learned since taking the lead at Voodoo Brewing Co. - Toledo. She talks about becoming comfortable with uncertainty, surrounding herself with a strong team, and finding support among other local business owners who want to see Toledo succeed.

💜 For Amy, a great neighborhood gathering place is about much more than food and drinks. It is somewhere the staff knows your name, neighbors run into each other, families celebrate milestones, and local organizations can come together for fundraisers and events. It is that sense of connection that she hopes people find every time they walk through the doors.

This month, we are recognizing the salespeople who helped make every new set of keys mean a little more. They showed up for their customers and helped turn vehicle searches into exciting delivery days.

🏆 Their results speak for themselves, but the experiences they create are what truly set them apart.

Congratulations to our September Salespeople of the Month! Thank you for continuing to raise the bar across the Taylor Automotive Family. 👏
