Another tow operator is fighting for her life because someone failed to pay attention behind the wheel.

On Saturday afternoon, Kellie Glaneman of Blair’s Towing & Recovery was doing what thousands of towing and recovery professionals do every single day, helping clear a disabled vehicle from the roadway on eastbound Interstate 64 near Newtown Road in Virginia. Instead of going home to her three children, she was struck by a passing vehicle while loading a car onto her tow truck.

The injuries are devastating. According to her family, Kellie suffered multiple broken bones, a shattered elbow, shattered thumb, severe injuries to her hand, extensive damage to her hamstring, numerous fractures in her back, and remains hospitalized in serious condition. She is unable to move on her own and spends much of her time unconscious as doctors fight to help her recover.

This wasn’t an unavoidable accident. This was another reminder that every time a driver ignores emergency lights, fails to move over, or refuses to slow down, the people working inches from live traffic pay the price.

Tow operators, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, DOT workers, and roadside service providers deserve to go home at the end of their shift. They should never have to wonder if the next distracted, careless, or reckless driver is going to change their lives forever.

Slow Down Move Over Inc. asks everyone to keep Kellie Glaneman, her family, and the entire Blair’s Towing & Recovery family in your thoughts and prayers.

Move over.
Slow down.
Put the phone away.
Someone’s life depends on the decision you make in the next few seconds.

🔍 Why We Do It This Way

Ever notice that some vehicles are loaded onto a flatbed, while others are towed with just two wheels off the ground?

That’s because not every vehicle should be towed the same way.

Many all-wheel drive, four-wheel drive, electric vehicles, and vehicles with mechanical damage are safest when transported on a flatbed. Keeping all four wheels off the ground helps protect important drivetrain components and can help prevent additional damage.

Using the right equipment isn’t about convenience—it’s about choosing the safest method for your vehicle.

10,966 drivers warned in just one month. 💛

In July, our Alert Safety Cloud devices sent 10,966 digital alerts directly to approaching drivers through compatible vehicle navigation systems and mapping apps—letting them know our trucks were working ahead and reminding them to slow down and move over.

That advance warning gives drivers more time to react and helps protect our team while they’re working along the roadside.

Technology that helps bring our drivers home safely after every call. That’s something worth sharing.

There aren’t enough words to thank the people who keep iGo Now Roadside moving every single day.

Long days. Late nights. Weekends. Holidays. Florida heat. Storms. Busy highways. Tough recoveries. Through it all, our team continues to show up and give everything they’ve got.

We’re incredibly proud of the people who wear our logo. Your hard work, dedication, and professionalism don’t go unnoticed—not by us, and not by the customers you help every day.

To our employees: thank you for being the hardest-working team we could ask for. We appreciate you more than you know.

💙 We couldn’t do it without you.
