Why Would You Stand on a Mower All Day When You Could Sit?
That’s probably the question I get asked most about my John Deere Q800 Series stand-on mower.
The truth is, standing on a commercial mower isn’t the same as standing on the ground for eight hours. The operator platform is suspended and designed to absorb bumps and vibrations, allowing your legs to work like natural shock absorbers. Instead of every bump traveling directly into your lower back, your body can move with the terrain.
On rough properties, I actually find a stand-on mower more comfortable than sitting.
